No app download is required. ImgTools is a web app that runs in any modern mobile browser. This means no storage space used by an app, no app store permissions, and no updates to install.
On iPhone, open Safari and navigate to ImgTools. Tap the upload area and select a photo from your Photos library. Use the touch-friendly interface to set dimensions and download the resized image.
On Android, open Chrome and follow the same process. The file picker will allow you to select images from your gallery or file manager.
Mobile processing is slightly slower than desktop due to lower device processing power, but for standard image operations, the speed is perfectly acceptable.
